Climate Change-1

Facts apart, the lonely and lively planet of Milky Way is fast undergoing the inevitable environmental changes recorded in last million years. The greenery is depleting, the glaciers are melting, the sea level is increasing, the land is shrinking and not to forget the climate is reversing. Reversal is slow and steady. Can you imagine an area that has not seen a single drop of water--drenched in rain? Do you know the regions that once enjoyed moderate weathers are now encountering extreme results?

We all know, come what may, the Nature is unpredictable. But, now, we can predict it's very end which is born out of growing pressures of human lifestyle. Man is extraordinarily intelligent. Through the centuries, we have seen nothing but only discoveries and inventions. Life has become too modern and sophisticated. We need every luxury of life to survive the ever growing pressures of competitions and challenges. Day by day, we are inventing new things to ease our life so that we have enough time to spend elsewhere.

At one time, we had nothing to do away the warmth of summers. In a country like India, people always made use of shades in whatever form whether for sleeping or sitting. Earthen pots were used to keep water cool. Hand fans were common to blow away the sweat. And the list of instances continues. However, now, air conditioners invade the summers with a bolt. No one better knows that the gas or chemicals emitted by its operation is responsible for changing climate. Almost , the whole lot of corporate buildings are made in glass and fitted with centralized ACs. No inlet in the skyscrapers for natural air as it has beeen devised to support artificial air.

Human population is crossing the boundaries of Nature by leaps and bounds. Can you imagine, our Mother Earth , turning bald with not a single patch of plant and tree? Plants are the natural providers of life giving element- Oxygen. If there are no plants, how would human life get its life support??? Perhaps, through chemically compounded oxygen or artificial oxygen. But, would it be possible to provide it to each and every human being on this planet?
